1. Experience Harlem’s burgeoning scene at  Harlem Eats, an uptown food truck and street food market happening every Saturday from 11am-5pm on Fredrick Douglas Blvd. between 117^th & 118^th Street
2. American Girl fans will love lunch (0r celebrating a birthday) at the American Girl Cafe on 5th Avenue
3. Dinosaurs, Barbies, Legos statues and an indoor Ferris Wheel, all things you can find  at the Toys R Us Times Square.
4. Enjoy a family friendly play at the New Victory Theater on Broadway
5. See a real life rocket at the New York Hall of Science in Queens
6. See some blue men at the iconic Blue Man Group show
7. Wander the jungles  and see the Komodo dragons at the Bronx Zoo
8. Stars, dinosaurs and whales all can be found at the city’s most popular museum, The American Museum of Natural History
