We moms have to perform many duties and one such duty includes performing surgery on lost body parts on dolls. My daughter hounded me until I fixed this little guy’s nose. After an intense search of fabric glue (remind me to label boxes), surgery was performed and now he is back to new and all is well in the kingdom.

oh gosh, I hear ya! You did a great job there!
Yes, one of our many trades. lol.
I cannot even tell you how many times I had my Grandma sew on the eyes and nose of my favorite teddy bear when I was little. π
Do you do tummy tucks too? lol π
I looked and looked and looked before I saw what was missing. Funny how kids obsess on things! π

Mine think I can fix everything. It makes me feel like I should at least try…even when it is a hopeless cause.
We need to see your medical license, ma’am.
I will get out my first aid kit as proof.
Great post – and oh so true!
Thanks for your reply, kids are funny.
LOL – the bear looks much better with a nose. Good mom π I found you from the WW blog hop. I am not sure what the list her was for, so I hope it was WW and I added my link.
I’m glad you were able to repair such a precious bear! Following you from the Mom Bloggers Club. Would love it if you would visit and LIKE my page: http://www.facebook.com/flightlessgoose
That’s too funny – and oh so true! Glad everything is well in the kingdom again! π
True! I haven’t had to fix anyone just yet but I do remember crying to my mom to fix my little monkey when my older sister ripped his head off! Did I mention this happened when I was 17? Yup, my older sister can be mean!
I hope he is feeling better after his surgery!
That sounds sooo familiar.
I’ve not had to fix anyone yet either. When one of The Dudes’ stuffed buddies loses an appendage we just write it off and say, it’s just like life. Sometimes stuff falls off but we love you anyway!
she was, I think kids are always happy when there little toys are better
this is so funny, and so true. my mom is the designated toy fixer in our family, and all the broken toys go into a box labeled “hopsital waiting room.”
cute your mom is the designated fixer.
My daughter had a Bananas in Pajamas B1 and B2 that played their song…. It broke so I had to cut open his hand, fix it, and then sew it back up… She loved that mommy performed surgery on it. LOL
I remember when my son was little he had a big teddy bear i bought him for Christmas, it was as big as him. It was always losing an eye or had a tear in him so i was always patching him, i even had to re-stuff him once he still has that bear and he is 26 he recently asked me to re-stuff it for his little girls.(My granddaughters).
Thats too cute!!
