Since I can remember, I have loved traveling to points near and far. And when I was working, I actually did not mind traveling around the country. How else are going to build up frequent flyer miles. But as a single mom, traveling certainly was curtailed during my daughter’s earlier years. I know families who have traveled with their kids since birth. And while visiting my family was a must, the idea of traveling to Europe or Asia with a young child sounds ludicrous and fraught with trouble. Plus how much is a 4 year old going to remember.
Now that my daughter is older, I am trying to get out more and travel. Last year, my 2012 Top 5 places to Visit were Disney World, Baltimore, Paris, Miami and Florence. Well, we only made it two out of five places but we did end going to Philadelphia twice and I ended going to Los Angeles for the premiere of Frankenweenie.
