We recently had the great pleasure of seeing The Tenors (tenorsmusic.com) perform at The Cutting Room’s new location in New York City. The new location of this well known club suited the singers perfectly. For those who are unfamiliar with The Tenors – here is a little background. The Tenors hail from Canada and have appeared on Oprah, The Emmys and the Olympic opening ceremonies.
The performance took place the evening before the release of their new album “Lead With Your Heart”. The singers, musicians as well, are backed by a four-piece band. They perform a wonderful blend of music from multiple cultures, in English and Italian. Some of the highlights from the evening included Bob Dylan’s Forever Young and Me He Enamorado de Ti.
The singers genuinely enjoyed performing, and interacted wonderfully with the audience. Their final song, Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, was an audience favorite and the perfect song to end their performance.
It was a pleasure to attend the concert at The Cutting Room’s new location. This well-known venue has played host to many accomplished performers. Their new location offers a larger seating area, coupled with a nice selection of food and drinks. We enjoyed everything about the evening – the music, the venue and the food, and highly recommend all three.
If you have an opportunity to see The Tenors as they tour the United States and the World, definitely add it your to do list.
