Once there was a chair (click here to read the history of the chair) that kept me up at night because it was filled with papers, magazines and god knows what and now it has been turned into a fort for an eight year old girl.
I sucked it up, took a weekend and literally filed, threw out and organized the mess, cleaning out my little mind. Here is the chair, all nice and neat and no, I didn’t just move the papers for the photo op.
One day, I came back from running errands and my daughter had turned the sleepaway chair into her own personal fort where she hides from me and watches television. Although it’s somewhat of an eyesore there in a living room, I think she deserves to have her own little space where she can literally hide in a our small one bedroom apartment.

Firstly, the chair looks great!!! Kudos to you for taking that step to straighten things up. My “chair” hasn’t made any progress.
I remember loving to make little forts/secret hideaways when I was growing up. I’m glad she has her own little private space now! lol. That little pic of her peeping out is too cute.
