Gold medalists and recipients of 11 Men’s Doubles Grand Slam Titles and ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) World Tour participants for the past seven years Bob and Mike Bryan (The Bryan Brothers) made an appearance at Duane Reade in midtown related to their Nestlé’s Nesquik partnership.

Of course, I remember the Nestlé’s Quik of my youth. I remember going to the military commissary with my mother and begging to buy Nestlé’s Quik so I could make chocolate milk for my after school treat. She would always say “no” and like all kids, I would always sneak it into the cart where she would find it at the cash register. She would just look at me with a knowing look and say “okay.” I think back on the excitement and anticipation on the ride home and could’t wait to get home make a glass of cold chocolate milk. Ah memories!!
So here we are years later and my daughter is a huge fan of Nesquik.
So just imagine my excitement when I was invited to meet Tennis Champs Bryan Brothers and the Nestlé’s Nesquik Bunny. I could not say no to that invitation. During the event, The Bryan Brothers posed for pictures with all their fans including Duane Reade VIP bloggers and signed autographs. They were too nice and even let me wear their gold medal. How cool is that!!
After the autograph session, I was able to chat with Mike and Bob about prepping for the U.S. Open, being a new dad and their mom’s advice on playing tennis.
