I am a huge Star Wars fan and my favorite Star Wars episode is Star Wars: A New Hope. It is the first one in the series and the movie that started the phenomenon. So imagine being able to watch such a culturally, iconic movie in the New York Philharmonic’s David Geffen Hall AND scored live to complete the film. How cool is that! I can not wait.
Just in case you forgot the plot. Star Wars: A New Hope is the journey of the young Luke Skywalker who is thrust into a galaxy of adventure when he intercepts a distress call from the captive Princess Leia. The event launches him on a daring mission to rescue her from the clutches of Darth Vader and the Evil Empire.
The special event will be held Friday, September 15 and Saturday, September 16.
