Delicious Snack and Drink Ideas for Game Day

January 25, 2017 by NYCSingleMom Filed Under: Product Reviews

Looking for yummy snack ideas and a bit of a drink for game day viewing, look no further than the assortment of food that my daughter and I tried during that last playoff game that included Big AZ sandwiches, Garden of Eatin Tortilla Chips, Better Bean dip that my daughter. And oh,  I enjoyed having a Session Lager beer with my delicious snack foods.

Game Day Snacks, session premium lager beer, big game snacks, tortilla chips, fresh beans, Biz AZ, Burgers, sandwiches

BIG AZ Sandwiches

BIG AZ Sandwiches

My daughter and I enjoyed several of the  BIG AZ lunch Sandwiches during the game. Admittedly, each BIG AZ lunch Sandwiches is over a half a pound and comes in a variety of popular flavors that can be eaten for lunch or dinner. We actually cut them in half to enjoy during the game and saved the rest for our lunch the next day that’s how big they are. That said, if you have guests over, you will have plenty to feed them.

  • BIG AZ Cheeseburger – One massive, protein packed beef patty topped with a decadent slice of American cheese, and all their world famous sesame bun.
  • AZ Kickin’ Jalapeno Cheeseburger – A giant beef patty, tasty pepper-jack cheese, and zesty jalapenos between a delicious bun.
  • BIG AZ Country Fried Chicken Sandwich – Huge crispy breaded chicken made with breast meat and topped with creamy white cheese and served on the world’s best sesame seed bun. This was our favorite.

Pick up a few burgers at your local store hot from a sandwich warmer or grab one from the cooler case and heat it up fresh in a microwave as they are perfect for your game day guests.

And we also enjoyed the BIG AZ Biscuit Stacker for breakfast. Quite yummy all the way around!!

Better Bean Dips

Garden of Eatin Tortilla Chips

No game day party would be complete without snacky treats and what better way to treat your guest to Better Beans dip to go along with Garden Of Eatin Tortilla Chips.  I loved that Better Beans are made in small batches with regional ingredients in a dedicated kitchen free of top allergens. They are also Vegan, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Non-GMO Project Verified and BPA-Free.

Best of all, Better Beans are soaked & prepared for easy digestion: so no worries serving beans for game day parties, if you catch my drift (ha!, ha!, my daughter loved my comment.)  But Better Beans is also good for just your every day Taco Tuesday or perfect to knosh on with fresh veggies which I love during the week.

While I loved the Roasted Chipotle Red Beans which was had the right amount of spices, my daughter preferred the Skillet Refried Red Beans. She even requested them as a side  for her quesadilla dinner the next day.

Garden Of Eatin’ Tortilla Chips

Garden of Eatin

We loved snacking on Garden of Eatin’ non-GMO organic corn tortilla chips during the game.  It was a toss up which flavor we liked best, the Nacho or  Ranch seasoned corn tortilla chips. All I know is that we enjoyed eating a USDA organic and gluten free snack made with organic, garden- inspired ingredients and so will your guests.  Find out where to purchase these new and delicious products on the Garden of Eatin Facebook page!

Full Sail Brewery Session Premium Lager

Session Lager Beer

There is nothing more refreshing and fun than enjoying a cold bottle of beer during a football game. This was my first experience with Session Premium Lager  and I thought how yummy it was.

For your information for those who haven’t tried Session Beer, the original Session is a classic, all-malt lager that’s crisp, smooth, and refreshing.  And I would concur with that assessment.

For you beer aficionados, Session Premium Lager has been the winner of multiple gold medals at the top national and international competitions and has been named #1 American Pilsner on the “Top Ten List of lagers brewed in the United States.”

Session Premium Lager is an easy drinking beer that tastes great and will be a welcome addition on game day, cocktail parties, barbecue or just getting together with friends and family. And who doesn’t think it has a retro cool bottle for you hipsters!!

Visit  Full Sail Brewing to learn more and where to purchase Session Premium Lager.

Chips and dip sound pretty good. The beans in itself will fill you up because it is protein. The burger sounds pretty interesting. Looks like you are all set for the Superbowl huh!
