September 11 for me is still fresh in mind given my experiences on that day. I know it seems so long ago but this year, I am going to take a break from blogging and remember the day as I always do by praying for those lost on that day and Thank God that my close friends survived.
Here is my post on my September 11 experience on that day in case you are interested. Quick note in case you don’t want to read it, I worked in the building directly across the street in the World Finance Center (the buildings with the pyramid on top) and was on my way to work which entailed walking the mall underground the World Trade Center.
Instead when I arrived, the path was blocked and we were guided upstairs. And what I saw from that moment, I came upstairs to the street level across from the World Trade Center will haunt me the rest of my life.
Take a moment to reflect on the day and hug the ones you love. I do.
