Dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico
St. Petersburg, Florida offers the best waters to go on Dolphin Cruises in the Tampa Bay. While we visited the Pier, we happened upon the Dolphin Cruise and we could not resist going out on a cruise searching for dolphins and we were not disappointed. We saw several dolphins on our tour along the Tampa Bay coast line. Unfortunately, we did not see any manatees. The dolphin in the photo swam with us all the way back to the Pier. Apparently this is common for dolphins to swim along the boat. The cruise also went to Shell Isle to look at the houses on the Isle.

My daughter got the chance to “Captain” the boat and “steer” in search of dolphins which as you can imagine is so much for a kid.
