Using Puffs Plus Lotion Facial Tissues Is Just One of 5 Tips to Help Get You Through The Cold & Flu Season!
This Winter is proving to be tough on families with so many surrendering to sniffles, sneezing, coughing and the dreaded runny nose!! Without a doubt, the cold and flu season has been especially tough on my daughter and me. I think that we have been sick at least twice since November.
Did you know that two-thirds of people get sick at least once during peak cold and flu season?”
One of my mom friends has been hit pretty hard by the flu so I wanted to cheer her up with a “Get Well” basket. Since I know she has been dealing with a bad case of sneezing and a runny nose, I had to include Puffs Plus Lotion facial tissues because the tissues lock in moisture which helps soothe irritated skin commonly caused from rough or thin tissues.
I have been sick recently and there is nothing more “irritating” that not only being sick but having a sad, red nose. So it comes as no surprise that Puffs Plus Lotion is America’s #1 selling Lotion Tissue brand and is soothing to sensitive noses like mine.
5 Tips to Get Through the Cold and Flu Season
Sanitize everything! – Wipe down every surface you may touch. I have also taken to wiping down all the door knobs!! I can’t wait to have the neighbors seem my wiping down the outside door knob.
Wash your hands – Wash your hands especially before touching your own or a loved one’s eyes, nose or mouth. And wash your hands immediately after returning home to wash off all those germs that you touched while you are out. I travel on the bus and subway so just imagine the germs that I touch on public transportation. I wash my hands the minute I come in the door. And the minute, my daughter comes through the door, I am reminding her to wash her hands!!
Be prepared – Stock up on medications like DayQuil Severe and NyQuil Severe to minimize the impact of a cold or illness.
Stock up on Puffs Plus Lotion. Keep your family’s noses soothed with Puffs facial tissues. Having Puffs Plus Lotion won’t help you avoid getting sick but it will help soothe those irritation from constantly blowing your nose and the continuous runny nose you may have.
Don’t be the “1 in 5 people who do not have tissues on them during cold & flu season, and have to look for or buy them when a cold strikes.”*
Have soup on hand. Whether it’s canned, homemade or a pre-packaged soup mix that is in my “get well” package for my friend, there is nothing more comforting than a bowl of soup when you are sick.

These are great tips. This is just what i needed to read today. I have been fighting with a cold and sinus infection for over a week now. I hate what normal tissue does to the skin on my nose while I’m sick. I totally forgot to look for the lotion option. I’m stopping for Puffs today before I feel worse.

What a nice idea to make your friend a get-well basket. I have luckily not been too sick yet this year but my husband keeps fighting colds all winter. Great ideas for keeping illness at bay!

It’s flu season around here and though mine didn’t went as bad, my nose just got stuffed and almost going away but hubby took everything! 🙁 We have had soup and teas, a lot! 😀 Great tips, I’m not sure if we have Puffs around here…I’ll surely ask next time I find myself at the apothecary.

This is my favourite tissue to use. I have an entire youtube video about how much I love them, lol.
I’ll have to say I forget about NyQuil, because my mom is allergic so we never had it in my house growing up. I’ll definitely have to add it to my winter emergency list. *knock on wood I don’t get sick*

Great post! I just went to Sam’s Club this weekend and purchase a case of Puffs and some flu items. This flu is no joke and we have been preparing ourselves, I even purchased some Lysol spray, love the basket idea I need to add all my items to a basket. Hope you’re on the mends to recovery!

I would LOVE it if someone made me a Get Well basket like this when I am sick! Puffs sure are super soft! I usually am out of tissue until I am too sick to go get some and end up with a sore nose using toilet paper lol.

Looks like a great product to keep your skin protected! If there’s something I hate about colds, it’s how damaged my nose and skin get from the tissues I use. Next time, I’m investing in these.

it’s worth it to save your poor little nose.

My daughter is getting over something right now. We just went to the doctor and they don’t think it was the flu but she sure had a lot of the symptoms. Thankfully she is recovering well and about to head back to school again.

I need to see if puffs is available where I am living. It looks like something that my little kiddos noses could really use this time of year! I love the idea of tissues with lotion. What a great idea!

It seriously makes a difference especially if you are just blowing your nose all the time.

My house is FINALLY well. Two weeks before Christmas the sicknesses started going around. Coughing, runny nose, sore throat, etc. It started with the youngest two and worked its way through everyone. The beginning go January it is was finally making to the final two kids and my husband. All eight of us battled it and it dragged forever. You better believe we had out Puffs. We would not have it any other way!
