Continuing our Paris travel journal, my daughter had to take a little nap before we began our day. That’s what only having 4 hours of sleep in an comfortable chair in coach will do for you.
Our hotel, Hyatt Paris Madeleine was walking distance to the Madeleine Church which is one of Paris’ many Roman Catholic churches and is dedicated to Napoleon. The entire front pavillion was filled with gorgeous flowers. If you stare straight down the avenue, you will see the Place de la Concorde.
The Place de la Concorde with The Eiffel Tower in the background.
We then headed to the Jardin de Tuileries for a lovely walk on a gorgeous day. The Tuileries garden was created by Catherine de Medicis and stands between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde.
It’s hard to believe, but we actually spent a lot of time in the garden as my daughter regained her energy, enjoying the trampoline and carousel.
This is a gorgeous carousel
