Finally, I had a chance to wander by Zuccotti Park. Let me say for the record, if you ask most New Yorkers, myself included, I did not even know the name of the park until Occupy Wall Street took over the space.
And for the record, it’s not really a park, it’s a large slab of marble with seats.
Whether you agree or not, if you have a chance, definitely wander by, even it fizzles out, it is now part of our history.
Here are some interesting photos from today’s visit.

Thanks for posting. Someones got to tell the story since the news media is doing a scanty job of it.

Do not confuse the complexity of this movement with chaos. I think that needs to be my new mantra 🙂

Does anyone know or understand the objective of this movement. What is the purpose and what is it supposed to accomplish. When will they know if they are successful? Great set of captures of some very interesting and possibly confused individuals.

I appreciate getting a look. I’d be there if I lived nearby.

I have no plans to visit NYC any time soon, but if I ever do, this will DEFINITELY be on my list!

Thanks for sharing the photos. On television we don’t get a chance to see up close and personal with the protesters, the smiles and their interaction. If I were there, I would definitely go by there.
