The Ninja Ultima Blender is without a doubt, the sleekest, coolest and most high tech blender I have ever used. If you know me, I hate high tech gadgets that force me to read the manual. Okay, I had to read the manual because I thought that the Ninja Blender would be difficult to use. Wrong! Once it was put together and I put the top on and tested it out the first time, the manual went on the shelf.
So what sets the Ninja Ultima blender from my current basic blender is it’s size, power and versatility. Not only can it make smoothies crushing ice easily but it can also be used as a food processor. I don’t know about you but I hated having both a blender and a food processor. Plus both were a pain to clean up. Just so annoying.
So far I have used the Ninja Ultima Blender to make some great winter soups including Creamy Broccoli Soup and Cauliflower Soup (both recipes from the accompanying Ninja Ultima blender booklet) and cut up cheese for my Easy Macaroni and Cheese. I can not tell you how easy it was to clean after each use. Trust me, I was willing to manually cut cheese before I finally just said “let’s use the Ninja blender ” and wow! it was super simple to clean all the bits of cheese that stuck to the pitcher.
Fabulous Features of the Ninja Ultima Blender
- The only blender with dual stage blending technology ensures you get the smoothest blend whether you are blending up veggies for a soup, crushing ice for a smoothie or simply cutting up cheese for a mac n’ cheese.
- 2 Single Serve Cups with Sip & Seal™ lids for personalized drinks on the go.
- The pro -variable speed allows you to replace a whole host of appliances from juicers to food processors to cheese grater and much more.
- The Ninja Ultima Blender costs much less that the Vitamix 750.
- 72 oz pitcher capacity allows you to blend your ingredients all at once rather than in stages. This makes a difference, when I used it to make the broccoli soup, all the ingredients fit in the pitcher, making the cooking so much easier.
- Tritan Jar Material Durable, stain resistant & BPA Free
As much as I am happy with the Ninja Ultima Blender and all it’s many features, there are two things to be aware of 1) the blender is pretty huge (remember the 72oz capacity) taking up a lot of counter space in my small kitchen and 2) it’s loud. Definitely don’t try to plan ahead and use it in the morning when the house is asleep because you will wake them up. The first time I used it my daughter screamed because she was surprised at the noise. That all said, neither is a deal breaker just wanted you to be aware.
If you are in the market for a new blender and want a truly multi-purpose blender, definitely visit ninjakitchen.com to view and compare the entire line of Ninja Ultima blenders.
