Monet’s Water Lilies at the Museum of Modern Art
One of my favorite things to do is visit the Museum of Modern Art, just to visit Monet’s Water Lilies. Claude Monet’s Water Lilies at MOMA became the first museum to display the large scale art panels. Monet had a gallery near his house in Giverny, a place I would like to visit one day just to see the Lilies up close and personal. He created more than 40 large and small scale pieces based on the lily ponds and gardens at Giverny.
I love to visit the Water Lilies at the Museum of Modern Art because it does take up the entire room. In fact its the only art in the room. I just like to sit there for a long, long time and just view it in silence and reflect on life. I definitely recommend visiting Monet’s Water Lilies, it is so worth it!
