MomTrends Travel Event
Recently, I attended the MomTrends 6th Annual Travel Event at Ivivva Union Square. I appreciate this annual MomTrends event every year because it’s a great way to find out what’s new in travel trends especially products that I can use when I travel.

Guardian Deet Free Repellent
Guardian is nature-derived, DEET-Free repellent as effective as 15% DEET against mosquitoes and ticks. After the event, my daughter and I had the opportunity to test it out while on our trip to Barbados and I can say that we were definitely mosquito bite free!!. Yeah!! My only feedback is definitely spray it on your body in a open air room. We liked the scent but it is very strong smell when you are spraying it on. Yes it dissipates quickly but I think it’s was better when it wasn’t an enclosed room.
eBags Packing Cubes
I am a big fan of ePacking Cubes. They are a perfect way to pack all of our belongings. I have different colors for my daughter and I and different sizes to differentiate day wear, swim gear and night wear. Just so much easier than layering it all in your bag. eBags is a great way to streamline your packing, making travel easier for the entire family.
Canyon Ranch
Canyon Ranch is known as a spa destination but during the event, we had the opportunity to test out their signature products that are used at their spas. Definitely check out their entire line available at their spa and online.
GoPicnic
GoPicnic offers ready to eat meals and snacks that are perfect for travel, summercamp, or summer picnics in the park. I like that the each meal/snack provides a balance of grains, protein and fiber. Each meal is very mindful of calories per meal; full ready-to-eat breakfast are under 400 calories, ready to eat lunch are under 500 calories and ready-to-eat snacks are under 300 calories. Great way to manage ready to eat meals when you are on the go.
Fresh-Tips
There are going to be times that you will be without water but still want to brush your teeth, then check out Fresh-Tips. There is no water needed to brush your teeth. And there is nothing worse that having that icky teeth feeling when you don’t brush them.
During the event Mommy Nearest Mommy Nearest and provided travel tops and destination ideas while we attendees enjoyed Essentia Water and NobleVines Wines.
