Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a cooking event hosted by MomTrends and Wonderful Pistachios at My Cooking Party. This is one of those culinary experiences that combines my love of cooking, delicious food and drink and of course, great friends.
Stunning Tablescape for A Holiday Dinner Party
The tablescape was absolutely gorgeous, done up in Winter Whites with gold trim and sparkling lights. I loved our individual nametags and ornaments. Very sophisticated and perfect for a Holiday sit down dinner party.
Cooking With Wonderful Pistachios
Of course, the purpose of attending the event at My Cooking Party was for all of us to have fun cooking our meal using pistachios. Admittedly, I LOVE eating pistachios but frankly never thought to include it in any of recipes. That was about to change.
Before we started cooking, we were treated to How to Use a Knife 101. Needless to say I have been holding a knife incorrectly for a very long time. I definitely was paying attention since we had to use professional chef’s knives that were very, very sharp.
Each of the attendees headed to start prepping our respective dishes. Somehow I ended up at the dessert station making Wonderful Pistachio and Cherry Popcorn Balls where I did use my newly learned skills in chopping up pistachios and cherries.
Wonderful Pistachios Recipes
Everything and I mean everything was absolutely delicious, even the barley salad. I can not wait to make each of these dishes for my family especially the Turkey Roulade. In fact, the next dinner party I have I will be making the both the Turkey Roulade with Wonderful Pistachio Pesto and Wonderful Pistachios, Peach and Barley Salad. It’s amazing how the pistachios added so much flavor to each dish. Definitely add these recipes to your must make list.
