Lotte New York Palace Mother’s Day Beauty Event
Recently, I attended the Lotte New York Palace’s annual Beauty Event in partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue. The Villard Ballroom at Lotte New York Palace was transformed into pop-up shops and beauty bars featuring notable brands such as Acqua di Parma, Clive Christian, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, Chloe, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Nest Fragrances and Nars, offering gifts for guests in attendance.
This year’s theme was “Roses.” Many of the brands I was familiar with or knew of but was surprised and excited to learn what was new in their respective product lines. And to be upfront, I love perfume and am always happy to sample new ones and when it comes to my skin I am always looking to improve my skin texture (hey I am getting older so I am doing all I can.)
LANCOME ABSOLUE COLLECTION
The new Lancôme Absolue is inspired by the life power of the rose. I had the opportunity to learn about Lancôme Absolue soft cream which is aimed at revealing younger skin after 4 weeks of use. Can’t wait to test it out. Looking for a Lancome offer, Saks (while supplies last) is offering a 7 piece gift with any $100. Lancôme purchase.
NEST FRAGRANCES
Nest Fragrances are known for the home fragrances including their best selling scented candles but at the event, I was treated to learning all about their fine fragrances. Nest Fine Fragrances come in 10 delicious smelling scents that cost only $75. I loved all the fragrances and so torn as to which one I liked the most but Verde is my favorite. Pick up one or two or just get the 10 piece layering collection. And pick up a candle to freshen up your home.
ACQUA DI PARMA
Acqua di Parma is one of the most popular brands from Italy. And rightly so, Colonia has been around since 1916 and is the company’s best selling and most well-known brand. And it’s my favorite scent too!
CLIVE CHRISTIAN
Clive Christian Perfume is a leading independent British perfume house established in 1827 and is the only house ever to have been granted permission to use Queen Victoria’s crown on its bottles. An image that defines every bottle of Clive Christian perfume to this day. The perfumes pictured above 1872, No. 1 and X are the most popular scents.
AERIN FRAGRANCES BY ESTEE LAUDER
Aerin Fragrances come in four scents, Aegea Blossom, Meditarrean Honeysuckle, Amber Musk and Rose de Grasse. Since the event was Rose themed, I have to admit, I really love the Rose de Grasse.
BOTTEGA VENETA FRAGRANCES
Who knew Bottega Veneta made fragrances? I thought they only made fine leather goods. I wish I could tell which was my favorite but there were so many that I really liked Parco Palladiona III.
SYNACTIF
Synactif line works in synergy to realize optimal radiance and beauty. I can’t wait to try to the eye care ritual which consists of an eye mask plus eye cream!
FRANCOIS NARS
Nars is a French cosmetics and skincare company founded by make-up artist and photographer François Nars in 1994. I test out the iconic Francois Nars multi-purpose stick that can be used on the eyes, cheeks, lips, and body. That is a product I can get behind. I am going to Saks to pick up one for my birthday.
ACUTE INFLECTIONS
Throughout the event, live entertainment will be provided by New York City-based jazz duo, Acute Inflections.

And to top the event off, there were hand and chair massages available in the Reid Salon.
Disclosure: NYC Single Mom was provided with samples throughout the event. Opinions and comments are 100% my own.
