Wordless Wednesday – 6 Rules To Live Our Life Like Second Graders

November 23, 2010 by NYCSingleMom Filed Under: Single Mom Daily Life, Wordless Wednesday

Last week was Open School week at my daughter’s school. I love it because it’s one of the few times, the New York public schools actually lets you in the door to view what is going on. It might only a few hours but it is definitely a window in the world of your child daily life.

One of the most interesting things about the day is seeing what is hanging up on the walls. This one struck me as particularily significant and meaningful so much so that we, adults should have it hanging up in our offices and/or homes.

  1. Encourage each other, you can do it
  2. Get compliments and Put Ups (Be nice, be a friend and don’t be a bully)
  3. Take Car of Each Other, Not Hurt Others
  4. Respect the materials we use
  5. Be Brave, Never Give Up
  6. Have Fun
