Last year, I uncomfortably had conversations about getting her period (Helpful Tips to Preparing for The Talk) . This is one thing I hate about being parent. Seriously who wants to talk about menstruation, I can barely utter the word let alone continuing talking about tummy aches and maintenance.
Well this week, I happened upon a commercial for Hello Flo, a tampon subscription service (who knew), titled Hello Flo’s First Moon party. Basically, the daughter fakes getting her first period. I don’t know why this would even take place but let’s roll with the premise. Of course, we moms know and she decides to “show” her a First Moon period-themed party.
