The Harry Potter Exhibition at Discover Times Square Ends September 5 so if you Love Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe,) Hermione Granger (Emma Watson,) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) then head to Harry Potter: The Exhibition at Discovery Times Square.

This is that last stop of the Harry Potter exhibit in the United States.   Muggles and Wizards alike will be enamored with the exhibit as it really brings together some of the most iconic movie pieces of a truly beloved book and movie series.

The exhibit starts with visitors being able to sit under the Sorting Hat so that they can be assigned to one of the Hogwart’s four houses, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin or Hufflepuff. My daughter,  of course, was happy that she was chosen to be a part of the Gryffindor House.

From there, you will wander through the Portrait Gallery where the paintings move and talk. Of course, visiting the portrait gallery would not be complete without the Fat Lady whose shrill singing will haunt you.

Love mythical creatures, then you will not be disappointed as Buckbeak the Hippogriff, the centaur, thestrals and acromantula all make an appearance.

Get a look at Harry Potter and Ron Weasley’s Gryffindor dorm room and robes beds.

Of course, visiting the exhibit and not seeing Harry Potter’s iconic glasses would be crime.

The exhibition has so many other elaborate rooms like Hagrid’s Hut and other unforgettable artifacts from the movies that you wish that there was more but Fans will be happy. As a fan of the books and the movies and after our visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, it really makes me sad that the last movie will be coming out in the summer.

Here is my daughter’s take on the exhibit.

Although I loved the exhibit,  I do have a couple of bugaboos. First you  aren’t allowed to photograph any part of the exhibit. I understand that they want to maximize profits by selling  the official exhibit photograph book. That’s fine but they should make an exception and let you  film the Sorting Hat Assignments. What a memorable momento and memory to have to be assigned to your favorite Hogwarts house. It’s a such a cute part of the exhibit that no book is going to come close to replicating. Also there was not enough interactive exhibits. Throwing a quaffle ball or pulling a mandrake from a pot is okay but there should be little more thrown in throughout the exhibit.
