After it’s successful run in 2011, the 14,000 square foot Harry Potter: The Exhibition has reopened and been enhanced with many more artifacts from the Harry Potter movie series that includes the Great Hall, Hagrid’s hut and the Gryffindor™ common room.
We planned on seeing this show with our 9 year old son and 11 year old daughter, the younger of them being most excited. But with a surprising smile on her face she thoroughly enjoyed the show as much as he did!
Starting out with a photo taken of us on green screen (which later places you in many Harry Potter scenes for you to purchase) we get the smiles started. Continuing through the many halls and rooms filled with props and clothing worn throughout all the movies even I get excited.
Seeing the original glasses worn by Harry, to the different wands, balls, furniture, and for me-the original graphic posters and signs, was really a lot of fun. The original wands and playing Quiddich were definitely the favorite parts for my son…but he did seem to be facinated by it all!
All in all, the Harry Potter Exhibition was a fun show for fans to see on a cold Sunday afternoon!

Electronic Remote Guide – Just to note- the electronic remote guide was interesting to hear as an adult who likes to know about how and why costumes are made, but for the kids they were a bit bored by it!
