If you visit Times Square, odds are you are bound to see a “Human Statue” ranging from the Statue of Liberty to Ballerinas to a Tin Man. I just happened to run into this gold Human Statue taking a cigarette break while waiting for the bus. Hilarious! I wish I had seen him in action because I can’t imagine how the gold granny cart and chart fit into this act.
Have you ever seen a human statue in New York or elsewhere?

I have, and I must confess, we are bad about trying to make them laugh.

No, I have never seen anything like this. It’s quite interesting.
I have an artist friend that likes to spray everything gold.
That is really cool.
I’ve seen one in our local mall but I’d love to see the ones in NYC someday!
Happy WW!
Cool, we have a lot of these in Amsterdam too! π Danica
The hubby and I are coming to NYC this weekend….can’t wait!
Very interesting! We have some human statues here of heroes, music icons etc. I am from Jamaica. Thanks for hosting and Happy WW!
How funny. I’ve seen gold men before but not with a shopping cart and chair. Wonder if his cigarette was gold also
I’ve seen them in Nebraska, but they weren’t gold. π
Was his cigarette gold too?
These statues are all over Chicago. Put money in their basket and they’ll dance for you.
