Snow finally hit New York City. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing the city covered in snow. The flip side is that if you want to see the fresh, clean and white (and the key word is white) snow covered parks and streets you have to get out early. After a couple of hours, the snow is like the relatives who stay too long, you are happy they came to visit but you want them to leave.
I woke my daughter up early so we could see the snow because once everyone gets up and starts playing the snow or goes to work, the snow looses all it’s beauty.
Because school was cancelled, she was able to meet up with friends to go sledding. The perfect snowy city day.
