The First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move initiative to ensure that all our children grow up healthy and reach their full potential marks it’s third anniversary. Let’s Move! officially began on February 9, 2010 to to unite the country around our kids’ health and create real support for families to live healthier lives. Since then parents, business leaders, educators, elected officials, military leaders, chefs, physicians, athletes, childcare providers, community and faith leaders, and kids themselves have stepped up to improve the health of our nation’s children.
To commemorate the event she has teamed up with two big stars to mark the occasion – Sesame Street’s Big Bird and Late Night’s Jimmy Fallon (separately of course.)
The Evolution of Mom Dancing (Jimmy Fallon and Michelle Obama) – Well worth your 2 minutes of seeing the First Lady and Jimmy Fallon (dressed as a mom) dancing is truly hilarious.
And for you Sesame Street Big Bird Fans here is the new PSAs with Sesame Street’s Big Bird and the First Lady.

Disclosure: NYC Single Mom was not compensated for this post, I just believe in the Let’s Move Campaign to get our kids out and about.
