In the spirit of fulfilling one of 2013 New Year’s Resolutions, I am doing something totally kooky to start of the new year. Usually, I stay in on New Year’s Eve or have friends over to kick off the new year.
This year, I throw caution to the wind and am heading over to a friend’s home for a party and then taking part in the annual Emerald Nuts Midnight Run. And don’t too get excited, I will be walking. Maybe next year, I will actually run.
Emerald Nuts Midnight Run takes place on December 31, 2013 starting at 11:45 pm. The Emerald Midnight Run is a 4 mile unscored run . There is also a dancing and costume parade earlier in the evening as well as a fireworks display. Visit nyrr.org for more details on the evening’s events.
