Christmas is just a few weeks away. This time of year is a whirlwind of activities, parties and events in a run up to the big day. Every year, I have an annual Christmas party which means planning and shopping for the party, thinking about decorating for the party and buying little stocking stuffer presents for friends and family. This year, along with looking for ways to spruce up my table, I was in desperate need of replenishing my holiday decoration supplies including gift wrap and ribbons, lots of ribbons. I figured that I would start at my local Duane Reade which always has not only all my DR Seasonal items in stock but also offers great ideas for DR gifts and decorating ideas.
There were so many great ideas for gift and stocking stuffer ideas from huge Teddy Bears, Nutcrackers, holiday Ghirardelli chocolates, Rudolph the Reindeer slippers, holiday plates, Hot Wheel cars and so much more.
The Crazy Loom was my daughter’s favorite wish list item and for me I thought this was the perfect gift idea for all her tween friends for Christmas.
The one thing I wanted to do was come up with a festive centerpiece which used Christmas ornaments and a oval serving bowl. What of course is great is that the bowl can be repurposed for other parties and even used for every day use.
