The Disneyland Hotel is located just a 20 minute walk to Disneyland Park. During our visit, we stayed in the Fantasy Tower and really enjoyed the decor with it’s beautiful gardens, waterfalls, and of course, hidden Mickeys.
5 Features We Loved At The Disneyland Hotel
1. Themed guest rooms – The Sleeping Beauty Castle light-up headboards create a musical Disney light show in the room at the push of a button and plays “When You Wish Upon a Star,” music box style. Yes, it my be a bit kitshy but my daughter and I loved it and actually wished it played longer when we went to bed.
2. The Pool Area – This was of course a hit with my daughter. The are 2 water slides for the big kids and Minnie Mouse Spa Tub to keep them busy.
3. Meeting Disney characters at Goofy’s Kitchen breakfast- here’s the perfect chance to get some great photo ops before you even hit the park. Definitely make advanced reservations to assure yourself a table.
4. Complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is available.
5. Close proximity to Downtown Disney and the monorail.
Admittedly, this is a pretty high priced hotel and maybe a bit old in it’s décor although it was recently renovated but the convenience to the park is worth it especially if you have little kids and want to get back to the hotel mid-day to recharge before heading back out.
