While exploring the D23 Expo, I had a chance to check out Disney Playmation , the next step in the evolution of play, where digital gets physical and imagination becomes real.
Talk about groundbreaking. Basically, Playmation is system of toys and wearables that uses smart technology to inspire kids and adults to run around and use their imaginations, as they become the hero or heroine of stories from Disney, Marvel and Star Wars.
What’s great about Playmation is that it’s not connected to the internet so players can go and explore any where they want from inside to going on a grand adventure in the back yard or for us New Yorkers the parks and playgrounds.

Check out the D23Expo Disney Playmation Demonstration!! During D23 Expo, I had the chance to see Playmation demonstration several times and I really can’t wait for this to hit the shelves. For older kids like my daughter who have outgrown the playground, having a game she can run around outside and interact with her friends is great. This is so going on my daughter’s Christmas list.
