As a bona fide Disney fan, I have been hearing about the D23 Expo for years. What is the D23 Expo? D23 Expo is the ultimate Disney Fan Club event where Disney fans from all over the world get an exclusive look at upcoming projects from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm.
And YES, you guessed it, I will be one of those lucky Disney fans along with 24 Bloggers attending this year’s D23 Expo taking place next week from August 14 – 16 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
I can not wait, it’s like being a kid in the Disney candy box. From all the surprises announcements to the surprise guest appearances, I am getting giddy. And one of my favorite movies of all time Disney Pixar’s Toy Story is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary. Director John Lasseter and the original Pixar crew will be on hand taking part in the celebration at the Expo. And imagine being surrounded by fans who really get into the characters, I can not wait to see all the fans in their Disney character outfits.
P.S. just in case you wondering, the name “D23” pays homage to the exciting journey that began in 1923 when Walt Disney opened his first studio in Hollywood. D23 is the first official club for fans in Disney’s 90-plus-year history.
Along with enjoying D23 Expo, I will be visiting Disneyland for their “Disneyland 60th Diamond Celebration”.

It is hard to believe that Toy Story was released 20 years ago! Growing up, I loved that movie. Can you imagine? Your toys are alive and having all kind of adventure? Wonderful movie it is. I am happy you’re chosen to attend the D23 Expo. I am sure you will have a great time!
Whoa, the story of Walt Disney is really inspiring. Who could have thought that this company will last this long and there are so many fans worldwide who love every movie and character they make? Disneyland is the land of happiness and you are so lucky to be participating in its 60th Diamond Celebration! What an honor!

Everyone has been talking about this event. I have been a huge Disney fan for a long time, and we have annual passes to the Orlando parks. We try to go at least once a month. We enjoy all the attractions and the movies too of course.
