In Disney’s live action film, “Cinderella,” Ella is told by her mother, “Where there is kindness, there is goodness; and where there is goodness, there is magic.” In my opinion, words of kindness can be magical and love that the movie promotes that sentiment. To celebrate the Digital HD and Blu-ray release of “Cinderella,” Disney has launched the “A Million Words of Kindness” Campaign.
Inspired by the spirit of Cinderella, this online initiative invites fans everywhere to pledge their commitment to be courageous and kind in the hopes of achieving “A Million Words of Kindness” in time for World Kindness Day on November 13th, 2015.
NYC Single Mom is an Ambassador of Kindness
As an Ambassador of Kindness, I try to be kind to everyone but one sustained act of kindness is offering assistance to other single moms. As a single mom, it’s not always easy and we all need time to ourselves.
Just recently, one of my single mom friends asked if one of her twins could sleep over because her sister had a fever. “Of course,” I told her.
Having just one child who is sick but taking care of one child while another wants your attention is to say the least physically draining. I always happy to help out when I can to provide my friend with the help she needs. And yes, both of her twins have slept over numerous times so she is able to enjoy dinner with friends or just have a night off.
