CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 picks up where Sony Pictures Animation’s mouth-watering comedy left off. Inventor Flint Lockwood thought he saved the world when he destroyed his most infamous invention — a machine that turned water into food causing cheeseburger rain and spaghetti tornadoes. But Flint soon learns that his invention survived and is now creating food-animals – “foodimals!”

CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 offers up a creative story line how the main character’s invention creates these “foodimals.” It it so hard to describe the tacodiles, shrimpanzees, hippotatomuses, cheespiders foodanimals but visually on a the big screen, when they make their appearance it is super cool. The detail and colors is amazing and you have to think to yourself “how creative” the team was that designed them. In addition, the “foodanimals” have characteristics of humans which makes them so cute especially my daughter and my favorite foodanimal, “Berry.”
I will admit that it is a cute, cute story, funny and does add a twist to a very popular movie and I think your kids will like the movie but admittedly, I liked the first movie better.
