Charmin® Introduces Charmin Van-GO, the First-Ever On-Demand Bathroom Service in New York City
New Yorkers like myself walk everywhere – running errands, shopping, wandering the farmer’s market and just plain walking around the city enjoying life! Sometimes we find ourselves in need of a restroom and not being able to wait till we get to our destination or back home. And I am sure you know that New York is not exactly known for having public bathrooms at the ready. Of course, the downside to actually finding a public restroom is that are likely dirty (you are thinking “ewww” and you would be right in your sentiment), not have toilet paper and they’re anything but private.
Butt (couldn’t resist!!) what if the bathroom could “find you” instead? Introducing a new way to Enjoy the Go… Charmin Van-GO.”
Today, I had the pleasure (seriously) of checking out Charmin Van-GO, an on-demand mobile bathroom service that is delivered directly to you. Charmin Van-GO was totally private and yes, a super, super clean modern designed bathroom loaded with fun tchotkes like a whoopee cushion, fresh towels and even a television.
It was stocked with Charmin (of course! ) plus ladies’ feminine hygiene products. Best of all, it smelled just lovely. I wish I knew what scent they used because it’s a keeper.
But that was not my only delight of the day, Blackish star Anthony Anderson who is partnering with Charmin to introduce Charmin Van-GO was on hand.
“When I learned about Charmin Van-GO, my first thought was, ‘Wow. New York City needs this!’ There have been too many times I’ve been on the go but couldn’t find a clean and convenient bathroom,” Anderson said. “It’s literally a bathroom delivered right to your footsteps. Now, people can avoid those random (and frantic!) coffee shop stops with Charmin Van-GO.”
Anderson was truly having a good time inviting passersbys on their way to work to check out the Charmin Van-GO. It was pretty funny since they were in awe of just running into him on their way to work and then having to check out the decked out bathroom. He is taking his mission seriously to save some butts and bring some laughs to folks looking to Enjoy the Go, on the go.
