12th Annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest Presented by Cheap Chic Weddings and Charmin
Wedding season is upon us so I was excited to attend the Charmin Cheap Chic Wedding Wedding Dress Contest sponsored by Charmin at the Haven Rooftop at the Sanctuary Hotel.
The annual Charmin Cheap Chic Weddings Toilet Paper Wedding Dress event showcases how Charmin products are not only America’s softest bath tissue but also offers 4x times the strength of other toilet paper brands. This makes Charmin the perfect material for designers to use to create their dresses and models to wear on the runway.
Can you believe these one of kind luxury wedding gowns were made out Charmin Toilet Paper?
When I saw the dresses up close, I was wowed by how intricate the details of each dress were. Just absolutely gorgeous.
Each dress was more beautiful than the next. The creativity and talent that it takes to design a wedding dress is one thing but to make it out of Charmin Toilet paper and without a sewing machine is truly amazing. I spoke to one contestant who was a former school teacher, not a designer and she told me that she estimated that it took 200 hours to make her dress. Wow!!
Check out my favorite dresses from the contest which according to Michael Russo, Event Planner to the stars, “All of the dresses deserve to be worn by a bride on her wedding day” and I totally agree.
Even the designer got into the act, designing his own wedding day “suit.” Can you see the detail of the head piece and the buttons down the back? Truly stunning!!
I loved this design for it’s modern take on the wedding dress, perfect for the woman who is looking to mix it up on their wedding day.
