How can you resist heading out into the first snow storm of the year? In New York City, if you aren’t out there early after a couple of hours, the snow is pretty icky from all the people trudging through the snow. Now I have to get out and buy a sled just in case […]
Wordless Wednesday – Future Rockette?
Last month, courtesy of my mom blogger friend Beth Feldman @rolemommy.com, we headed off to the opening night of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. P.S. I love the dress she is wearing and am sad that it is the last year she will be able to wear it. Full disclosure, my daughter and I have […]

Wordless Wednesday – Alcohol – Greatest Invention or Greatest Crutch
Don’t you love sayings you find at bars. I saw this at Milano’s on the lower east side and I could not resist. Sign says it all. Note: look closely at the author.
Wordless Wednesday – Part Deux
Signs come in many forms. As I was going to do laundry, I noticed someone on my floor had thrown out some glasses. I I have no idea why but I decided to pick up them up, maybe it was the red glass case that caught my eye. Who knows but I am so glad […]
Last Official Photo of Summer – Wordless Wednesday
This was taken at the tip of Battery Park on a beautiful day. The sad part is this time next year, my daughter won’t be able to fit into her favorite party dress. We both loved that dress. I found it at a consignment store for $10. The best $10 I ever spent.
