Boston Market has always been known for offering families home style meals and sides at a convenient value. And they are famously known for preparing fresh, never frozen, gluten-free, whole chickens with no added hormones, steroids, antibiotics or MSG.
Well, Boston Market is upping their game and introducing a new item to their menu, Rotisserie Prime Rib.
Recently, I attended a press event unveiling Boston Market’s Rotisserie Prime Rib where guests were treated to Rotisserie Prime Rib, rotisserie chicken, a host of sides and dessert. And what a extra treat, each course was paired with carefully selected wines.
Let’s get to the meat of the story, Boston Market’s Rotisserie Prime Rib is USDA Choice Prime Rib and is low-spun in the brand’s famous rotisserie ovens for over an hour. So it’s freshly made not frozen!
“Using the rotisserie allows the product to be cooked at a lower temperature, which tenderizes the meat, allows the moisture to set in and cooks evenly throughout. Slow, self-basting rotisserie cooking of our seasoned USDA Choice Prime Rib also gives a succulent, unparalleled flavor you just can’t find in a traditional prime rib restaurant.” – according to Boston Market Vice President of Operations and Culinary, Dan Ledgard
Admittedly, I came to the event with absolutely no expectations. Not only was I surprised at how delicious the prime rib was, I was impressed by the tenderness of the meat, how succulent and how moist it was. It was really, really good, better than some restaurants that I have been to that serve you prime rib for twice the price. Did I mention how much I really liked it? Now you are wondering did I eat the entire portion.
No, I did not eat the entire portion although I tried because I had to leave room for the sides and the rotisserie chicken. The chicken was equally delicious, juicy and moist. Now sides are all important in my book but Boston Market has an amazingly delicious side assortment that includes green beans, rotisserie potatoes, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese and their famous fresh-baked cornbread. Twist my arm they were all absolutely delicious but my absolute favorite side was the seasonal bacon vinaigrette broccoli. Oh, my goodness, it was so yummy I asked for seconds.
After enjoying our delicious main course, we were treated to Boston Market’s desserts that included Apple Pie, Chocolate Cake, and Chocolate Chip Cookie. If you love chocolate, you will be impressed by the chocolate cake. It is as moist, flavorful as any Michelin restaurant I have eaten at, that’s how delicious it was. Even after eating the main course, I couldn’t resist finishing the chocolate cake, it was that good. Of course, both the apple pie and chocolate cookie were yummy.
Rotisserie Prime Rib – the first rotisserie steak offering from Boston Market – is now available on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings beginning at 5 p.m.
For just $15.99, you will be able to buy Rotisserie Prime Rib which is USDA Choice Prime Rib, along with two sides of your choice, fresh-baked cornbread (one of my favorites), horseradish cream sauce, and au jus. As a busy single mom, I love that Boston Market offers a quality, home-style meal that is ready to go. Makes life so much simpler especially on days when I need an extra hand in the kitchen (Fridays) and so very excited that they are now offering Rotisserie Prime Rib to go along with their Rotisserie Chicken.
I definitely recommend the Rotisserie Prime Rib and if you go on Sunday, I think it’s a nice way to end the weekend with the family. I can’t wait to have my daughter try the Rotisserie Prime Rib, I know it’s going to be her new favorite.
