Our last full day at Walt Disney World was spent at the Magic Kingdom going to Adventureland and Mickey’s Toon Town Fair. It’s hard to believe that we did not cover these two areas on our 13 hour session but they needed to be seen otherwise our trip would not have been complete.
Our first stop was the Swiss Family Treehouse where a multi-level treehouse stands that looks exactly like the movie. We climbed all the way to the top. My daughter’s comment “this isn’t a ride” I think because she hasnt read the book that there was no background or relevance for her.
The magic carpets ride of aladdin was fun. It’s pretty much like the dumbo ride but with carpets. Kids Just love being up in the air controlling the skies. I guess you have to partake in the jungle cruise and pirates of the Caribbean ride.
Both are not scary for kids. The jungle cruise was cheesy only in that script was so bad and filled with old jokes and puns. The adults sorta of laughed but most of the kids didn’t get any of the jokes. As my daughter said, “the animals aren’t real and the safari at Animal kingdom was better. On to pirates of Caribbean. Even for a person who gets motion sickness and hates rides this was boring. Before we headed to mickeys house, we had to ride splash mountain ride again and again. All in all, we rode that thing 5 times. Hard to believe I let myself get propelled down a 50 ft drop to get soaked 5 times but my daughter was happy.
Two words describe Minnie and Mickey’s houses, the each have their own house.
The last part of the day was spent at Space mountain where my daughter rode it twice. Once was enough for me.
It’s hard to believe but we did not get back to the hotel to 5 for a quick dip in the pool before racing to our dinner at tutti italia in the italian pavilion. It made kinda of sad since Id like to be in Italy not florida
Our evening was capped with the illuminatiions fireworks show.
Quite a day and night. A lovely way to end the vacation.
