Apple Introduces New iPod Touch

I have been a fan of the iPod touch since its introduction. We even took an iPod touch when we went to Italy last year. So I was excited when Apple introduced a new iPod touch that is keeping up technologically and delivering high performance in an ultraportable form factor. The new iPod touch measures 6.1 mm and 3.1 ounces and features a design that think is perfect for users. I love that I can store all my music to listen to on the go and even play mobile games on its stunning 4-inch Retina display. And if you are looking for an affordable iOS device you can’t go wrong since prices start at $199. it’s IS the most affordable iOS device.

I love that I can play games on my iPod touch with enhanced graphics, it makes commuting so much more enjoyable.
Augmented Reality AR comes to iPod for the very first time. Get measurements of real objects around you using the Measure app. You can play games with friends in even more immersive and shared experiences. Or learn in a completely new way with thousands of AR apps available in the App Store.

Apple Music and iTunes With an Apple Music subscription. You can stream 50 million songs and download your favorites. I love having Apple Music so I can play music while I workout.
You can load your iPod touch with songs you love from the iTunes Store or your iTunes library. Yeah, I have tons of music that I can’t wait to move from my iTunes library for my listening pleasure both at home and work. With the new 256GB storage option, you can now store twice as much as before. It’s the largest storage on an iPod — ever.

Apple Arcade is a gaming service that lets you play over 100 groundbreaking new games. All you can play, online or off, without ads or in-app purchases. One subscription for the whole family, so up to six members can enjoy. You can start playing on your iPod touch on the go, and finish it up. I love this feature since I play games, my daughter plays games so one subscription is perfect. Apple Arcade is coming this fall.

Full disclosure and I bet you are wondering why I really love the new iPod touch since I have an iPhone. This is me but I like the idea of pulling some apps and activities off my phone. This sounds a bit nuts to have two iOS devices but I just do. I just think it’s a more mindful way of living my day to day life and keeping the activities separate by the device.
