Lotus Trolley Bag and Reusable Produce Bags
If you live in New York City, you are well aware that plastic bags are now banned. That’s right, when you go to any store they will not give you a plastic bag for your groceries unless you pay for a bag. or pay for the store’s bag. Yikes! I don’t know about you but I don’t have that many bags to lug around groceries. That is why I was happy to review the Lotus Trolley Bag.
The Lotus Trolley Bag is a set of patented set of four reusable bags that spread out across your shopping cart.
I recently took along one of the bags to go shopping at my local supermarket. What I liked about the set is that there are various sizes that have a mesh bottom and is durable enough to carry 50 pounds in each bag. One of the four bags is an insulated bag for cold/frozen foods and another has specialized pockets for eggs and wine bottles. I don’t usually buy that much on my daily trips to the supermarket so I only needed one bag and wasn’t buying any frozen foods so one bag was perfect.
As you can see, the bag fits across the shopping cart perfectly so you can load your groceries. And because of the long handle, I could just carry on my shoulder. Perfect since I do live in New York City and walk to the supermarket so I like that it was easy to stop at a couple of other stores on the way home without feeling overloaded.
As I mentioned, I only needed one bag but I can not wait to take the entire set on my next warehouse shopping trip. That is the time when I buy a ton of food including cold/frozen food. And having the color-coded bags is perfect for being able to identify my purchases when I go with my friend. We usually throw all our stuff in her trunk and back seat and then have to sort through it when we get to my apartment. Now it will be super simple and easy way to get everything I bought.

While I don’t own these bags, I have them on my wishlist. Since plastic bags are being banned in so many places nowadays, these are great to have.
