Megan McDonald is the author of the best selling series, Judy Moody and has just written her first screenplay, Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer based on her beloved character, Judy Moody. In the movie, Judy Moody’s best laid summer plans go comically awry and she has to create her own vacation adventures.
Ms. McDonald was totally an easy interview and completely at ease with answering questions about how the movie came about, how she “discovered” Jordana Beatty, the star of the movie and her family antics which are the basis of many of the Judy Moody series.
