Christmas is just around the corner. I have already started my shopping if you can believe it. But the most important part of managing the holiday season is what are we going to do for a vacation. Are you in the same boat?
Every year is different because I have to consider my budget, so our Christmas vacations have run the gamut from going to a theme park like Disney World or visiting all the festivities New York City has to offer like seeing the Rockettes or heading to the beach. Of course, we all need to consider visiting with relatives. It is amazing how when my daughter was a toddler, we visited numerous relatives. So counterintuitive since as a single mom, dealing with car seats, strollers, and carry-ons were not fun but having my daughter hang with cousins was important to me and memories she will have forever. I am sure this sounds familiar right.
After coming up with all my Christmas Vacation Ideas, my number one tip for deciding on a Christmas vacation is involving my daughter in the decision making. Kids are a great sounding board and frankly, going on a vacation when they are not into the choice will not be fun.
Here are 11 Christmas Vacation Ideas for you to consider.
