PUFFS or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at A Certain School of Magic & Magic, the acclaimed comedy currently running on Stage 5 at New World Stages is an Off-Broadway HIT. The acclaimed comedy celebrated its 300th performance on January 1st, 2018. It has broken two New World Stages Box Office records. The just concluded HolidayWeek marked the largest grossing week in the history of Stage 5 at New World Stages. PUFFS has also achieved the highest advance sales for Stage 5 in the existence of the venue.
The repeat business is astounding. 20,000 people squeezed into the previous run. The current Box Office staff at New World Stages wasn’t prepared for the onslaught. The theatre’s capacity is 199 seats. There are 400,000,000 wizard enthusiasts alive today. Do that Math! TAudience response has continued to grow. And! Another wave of rave reviews has appeared over the past four months. The result? PUFFS is now on sale through November 4, 2018.

For seven years a certain boy wizard went to Wizard School. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of The Puffs who just happened to be there too. This is a play for anyone who has never been destined to save the world. Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic is a Potter inspired comedy for anyone who has ever felt like a secondary character in someone else’s story. The play gives you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three new heroes just trying to make it through magic school.
PUFFS’ inexhaustible cast plays 53 of the most certifiably off-balance and uproariously entertaining characters on an American stage today.

At the request of fans around the world, “Puffs: Live Off Broadway” will be captured in front of a live audience for two performances in February, to be available for download and streaming later in the season.
