Visiting Hersheypark at this time of the year will definitely put you in the Holiday spirit. Christmas Candylane is truly a magical time as Hersheypark transforms into a veritable wonderland of lights and activities that make Christmas in Hershey super special for kids of all ages.
Holiday Coaster Rides
The park’s favorite rides are decked out with a Christmas theme including the most popular roller coasters including Cocoa Cruiser, sooperdooperLooper, Wildcat, Wild Mouse, and Laff Trakk. I, of course, had to check out the Ferris Wheel where you can see much of the park all lit up in all its colorful glory.

Mingle with Santa’s Reindeer
Kids and adults alike will love seeing Santa’s live reindeer including everyone’s favorite – Rudolph! There are handlers on site so you and your kids can ask all your questions about reindeers.
Hershey Character Experiences
What is visiting Hersheypark without getting a photo opp with Hershey’s Characters? Best place to meet the Hershey’s Bar Characters are Founder’s Way near the Carrousel. And for the Hershey’s Kiss character, head over to Kissing Tower Hill near the Kissing Tower.
Sweet Lights Spectacular
Hershey Sweet Lights which is open until January 1, 2017 offers visitors a holiday drive of 600 illuminated and animated displays from the comfort of your car. You will be in awe of the multitude of displays that is sure to brighten your night and enliven your holiday spirit.
Christmas Candylane Events
Additional Hersheypark’s Christmas Candylane events to check out – 1) Posing with Santa, 2) Music Box Christmas show great for kids of all ages, 3) The Cookie Workshop where you can purchase and decorate sugar cookies and 4) Rudolph’s Skating Pond right next to Santa’s Reindeer.
