5 Reasons That You Will Love Finding Dory (and 1 spoiler)
- Ellen DeGeneres – It goes without saying that without Ellen DeGeneres, the Dory character would not be that popular nor would there be a sequel. She just brings her enthusiastic self to the role and it works. She is just terrific.
- Hank the Octopus – His ability to hide throughout the movie is just hilarious and adds so much to the storyline.
- Dory’s interaction with her parents – The scenes with her parents are so precious and frankly, a bit heartbreaking. They only want to protect her by teaching her to remember key things like how to get home. Who as a parent hasn’t had those moments with their kids when they are young, teaching them to remember their phone number or their address or what to do if they get lost.
- It’s just plain funny – all the supporting characters are just funny and there are definitely some laugh out loud moments that both adults and kids will love. As with so many Disney movies , you do not have to have kids to enjoy the movie.
- Sigourney Weaver – Spoiler alert! Sigourney Weaver does have a small role in the movie.
Do I recommend seeing Finding Dory?? Yes and Yes!! It is destined to be a classic.
