O Magazine’s Creative Director Adam Glassman Offers Tips to Upgrade Your Spring Style from @JCPenney #SoWorthIt

March 23, 2016 by NYCSingleMom Filed Under: Lifestyle

Spring Fashions From JC Penney

I had the pleasure of attending the Spring into Style event hosted by JC Penney featuring O Magazine’s Creative Director Adam Glassman. The presentation offered the best JC Penney styles and hottest trends. This is one of the fun events that offered new ways to upgrade your Spring style but at affordable styles. Admittedly, I do not shop at JC Penney but was excited to see how JC Penney is offering trends that are influenced by the runways of Milan, New York and Paris. This is where a fashion expert like Adam Glassman brings to the table. If you are Oprah fan, you will recognize Adam. He has been the creative director for O Magazine for 15 years and has been featured on her show.

JCPenney Event

In addition to seeing the Spring trends from JC Penney, Gayle King, one of the hosts of CBS Sunday Morning and a O magazine Editor made a surprise appearance. Yikes!! Talk about a highlight. I loved that her in real life personality is just as you see her on camera. She offered her opinions on fashion. Fun fact:  Glassman updates King’s closet on a regular basis. Now that is something I would welcome yet be afraid to do.

SPRING TRENDS

Adam has rounded up the best Spring trends in fashion from pretty details, fun colors and new takes on old favorites.  Feel free to mix prints, stripes and flowers, add interesting fabrics like neoprene and add a pop of color.  Here are some favorites from the event that I really liked and you will too.

During the Q&A session, I had to ask how I could upgrade the dress to wear to the Red Carpet Premiere of  Disney’s Jungle Book that I am attending in April. Adam brought over some great accent pieces for me wear and told me to wear either bright or flower shoes and change up the white belt.  Stay tuned for the look to hit the red carpet in April

Disclosure: NYC Single Mom received a JC Penney dress to wear to the event. Opinions are 100% my own.
