Every year, I throw a Christmas Celebration. 1. Prepare In Advance – Definitely prepare and get ready as many items as possible from laying out all your party platters, wine glasses, tablecloths, and silverware.
2. Have Your Guests Bring Items That You Need or Don’t Want to Prepare – Guests always ask “what can I bring? I don’t hesitate to ask for champagne or Prosecco or dessert. I buy the wine they provide the bubbly. The one part of the menu I am not a good at is dessert. Plus if someone offers to bring cannoli, I am not going to say no.
3. Have your kids help out- My daughter is older so helps out with the little things like putting away dishes on party day or taking out the recycling and trash. These types of things are annoying, take time and adds unnecessary stress.
