I am a big fan of Hyatt Hotels having stayed at the Hyatt Hotel Times Square and the Hyatt Paris Madeleine. As we were traveling with another family and fellow blogger, Mitch at gaynycdad.com, I was happy that he recommended the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay and Spa for our trip to San Diego. Along with having some wonderful features, the hotel is close to so many San Diego attractions. Sea World is so close you could walk there but don’t since you have to cross a few highways to get there.
Of course, the hotel has not one but three free-style swimming pools with water slides. And my daughter’s favorite activity after swimming was the making smore’s (kits are available for sale) in the fireplace.

Hyatt Regency Mission Bay San Diego also includes an eco-friendly spa, waterfront health club, full service marina with jet skis, sailboats, kayaks, sportfishing and whale excursions. There is also a Einstein bagels to pick up some coffee and noshy items if you don’t want to eat at the hotel restaurant.
Visit missionbay.hyatt.com for more information and check out all the activities and features the hotel has to offer.
Disclosure: NYC Single Mom was not compensated for this post. Mitch at gaynycdad through his AAA and AARP memberships, was able to reserve our rooms for under $200 along with 2 breakfasts.
