After enjoying the THOR: TREASURES OF ASGARD exhibit at Disneyland Resort, I had the chance to take in the iconic and original Disney theme park. Not only did I get to check out popular rides like Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, went hang gliding in Soarin’ over California, embarked on the fast-paced Indiana Jones Adventure ride and wandered around Radiator Springs in Cars Land. And finally, even though it was early November, I was thrilled to check out Haunted Mansion inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The Disneyland Resort is ready for holidays with all their traditional Holiday favorites plus these three new additions:
World of Color – Winter Dreams
This is an all-new, holiday version of the very popular “World of Color” nighttime, water spectacular at Disney California Adventure Park which is hosted by Olaf the snowman from the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures’ animated feature “Frozen,” the “World of Color.
Disney ¡Viva Navidad!
This new celebration, inspired by Latino culture and celebrations, features music, food, dancing and an exciting Street Party multiple times a day. It begins Nov. 15 at Disney California Adventure. This precedes the Jan. 3-6 Dia De Los Reyes celebration for Three Kings Day.
Jingle Cruise
The Jungle Cruise skippers decorate for the Holidays and add some fun new jokes to their riverboat tour, at Disneyland Park.
Visit disneyland.disney.go.com for more information on all the holiday theme attractions and events at Disneyland this holiday season.
Disclosure: NYC Single Mom is being provided a trip to the Los Angeles for the Thor:The Dark World, Delivery Man and Disney Planes and Marvel Hulk/Iron Man press events. Opinions are 100% my own.
