Reverb 10 is an annual event and online initiative started by Gwen Bell to reflect on your year and manifest what’s next. Reverb 10 provides participants with an opportunity to reflect on what’s happened, and to send out reverberations for the year ahead. With Reverb 10 – and the 31 prompts the 31 authors have created, I am trying to complete each prompt everyday but some of them are tough and take me a long to time to write.
December 11 Prompt: 11 Things. What are 11 things your life doesn’t need in 2011? How will you go about eliminating them? How will getting rid of these 11 things change your life? Author: Sam Davidson 50 Things Your Life Doesn’t Need @samdavidson
1) Negative People – Enuf said
2) Clutter – I have too much stuff. I need to be able to to let go and not rationalize why I keep this stuff. The obvious change is more space to buy more stuff (kidding) but kidding aside, I do need more space and it will be a relief to have less stuff.
3) Fat or should say my gut – I say this every year but I have go to get rid of this tire following me around. I am going to start making an effort to write everyting down that I eat and elminate eating lat which contributes to my fatness. The obvious benefit, I am healthier, I will look better in my clothes.
4) Stress – Good luck to me but I need to learn to manage it better.
5) Eliminate reading one newspaper and one magazine – sounds odd, but how many mangazines and newspapers can one personread. By eliminating them mabye I can actually find time to read a book.
6) Lacksadaisical attitude towards eating and working out – I need to pay more attention into what is actually in the packaged goods I eat. I need to focus more on actually working out as opposed to hanging out at the gym.
7) Eliminate procrastination – I constantly wait to do things at the last minute and I lose so much from not taking care of things sooner.
That’s it, I can’t think of anything else right now. Let’s try to start moving on #7 otherwise this post will never happen.
