Ten years ago, my mom, sister and drive to Philadelphia to meet my daughter for the first time. To say that I was nervous, she might have only been a few days old but in the back of your mind, I’m thinking what if we don’t bond or she starts crying the minute she sees me.
Needless to say that did not happen. All I remember was the minute we came in she was asleep and as soon as we entered her room she woke up.
That ten years ago is one of the happiest days of my life. I look forward to what the next ten years will unfold.
